The problem with the classic Star Wars Trilogy DVDs is the following:

The subtitles won't be displayed or only very seldom. On the other hand,
mplayer gives the following output:

...
Starting playback...
SPUasm: invalid frag len / len2: 625 / 3 189/189 0% 0% 2.9% 0 0
SPUasm: invalid frag len / len2: 69 / 0 228/228 0% 0% 2.6% 0 0
SPUasm: invalid frag len / len2: 1833 / 0 12/312 0% 0% 2.3% 0 0
SPUasm: invalid frag len / len2: 1177 / 0 74/374 0% 0% 2.1% 0 0
...
and so forth.

Same is valid for the Indiana Jones DVDs.

I have prepared a stream portion of chapter 24 (Han Solo talking to Jabba
the Hutt), which features forced subtitles as well. It's the german DVDs
with the following subtitle layout:
0: en
1: de
2: tr
3: de
4: de
5: en
6: en
7: de

Looks like the parsing of the subtitle stream still raises some problems...

Thanks a lot,
